INITIATION CEREMONY

Members are invited to join the annual initiation ceremony to be honored for their academic achievement and membership in one of the most prestigious honor societies in the country.

Frequently Asked Questions about Initiation Day

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Students are asked to dress professionally as this is a formal ceremony.  Students who may be concerned about access to appropriate attire may visit the Career Closet located on the first floor of the Ellison Campus Center.​

DO I HAVE TO PREPARE ANYTHING?
You do not!  Students will receive an email asking them to provide information on pronunciation of their name if they are concerned, but otherwise we will direct you during the ceremony.

WHERE CAN MY GUESTS PARK?
Guests may park in any commuter spot on campus for the ceremony. Please see the campus map for potential commuter spots.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I CAN'T ATTEND?
You are not required to attend the initiation ceremony however we strongly encourage you to do so.  This is an important milestone and celebratory moment, and both the university and your chosen guests want to recognize your amazing accomplishments.
